New Video Release: On the Front by the PaleFace Junkies ft Marino of LSB

A few months ago I introduced you guys to The Liquor Store Bandits out of Missouri  Many of you are really feeling the LSB, so I decided to chexN in with them and see what’s new for the Midwest group.

I’ll be sitting down for a Twitterview next week with LSB, and we’ll get a full chexN. I’ll give you all the details on little later. But, in the mean time and in between time, they dropped a little treat for us…

Marino of the LSB has teamed up with Kid Vibe of the PaleFace Junkies and dropped a brand new video for their song “On the Front”.

The PaleFace Junkies are another alternative hip hop group out of St. Louis Missouri.  Jack Frost an MC and Kid Vibe a Producer/MC together formed the underground rap duo. And like LSB, they have quite a huge following in their hometown. You can check out the PaleFace Junkies music on Bandcamp .

“On the Front” is an old school sound in a new package. Even though the track leans more toward hip hop than rock, the song is all in your face like a bad ass guitar rip. It’s exactly where alternative hip hop should be-balanced between multiple genres.

And the video is done right.  It is so good to see artists really embracing the opportunity to make a quality video by acquiring skilled individuals/companies/groups to create and film videos for them. They really don’t cost that much and it is a much better look than having all of your friends come over and tape you at the same time with their cell phones. (I know people who have done that…)

We’ll be catching up with the Liquor Store Bandits and the PaleFace Junkies later. But for now, chex out the new video On the Front!

  1. Steen, Thank you so much for this review. I can’t tell you how grateful I am for everything you do and have done to help get the world to notice the great music that is coming out of St. Louis MO.

  2. GREAT REVIEW! Very well done! Thank you for your time and the notice! Its the true indie supporters that is missing in the watered down version of a music industry!
